New Patient FAQs
To make an appointment at Norman Broudy, MD & Associates of Wilmington, Delaware, request an appointment online or call (302) 655-7110, ext. 221. Please leave your name and daytime phone numbers including home, cell, and work numbers and email address.
You do not need authorizations from your PCP. However, you do need to contact your insurance company to find out if an authorization is required from them prior to your first visit.
Yes, you may keep your appointment, however you will be responsible for payment in full at the time of service without proof of insurance coverage.
If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on your first visit.
We will only bill your primary insurance company. You may submit an itemized statement to your secondary insurance company for reimbursement. However, you will be responsible for any coinsurance or co-payment at the time of service.
The privacy of all communications between a patient and their clinician is protected by law and can only be released with written permission from the patient.
Prescription Refill FAQs
We prefer that you fill out our online medication refill request form.
If you do not have access to a computer or mobile device, you may leave your request on our prescription phone line, (302) 655-7110, ext. 241. Please be sure to include:
- Name of the patient and spelling
- Date of birth
- Number where you can be reached
- Name of the medication and dosage with directions
- Whether you will be picking up your written prescription or if we should mail it to your residence
Please contact your pharmacy directly to see if your prescription has been authorized.
Prescription authorization requests can take anywhere between 1 – 7 business days.
Billing & Insurance FAQs
If we do not participate with your insurance, you may contact your insurance company to see if you are eligible for out-of-network benefits. If you are eligible, you can submit an itemized statement to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, you will be responsible for the full appointment fee at the time of service.
Out-of-network benefits are provided by some insurance companies that pay for providers who are not on their panel, but at reduced rates.
We accept personal checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Yes, there is a $30 charge for checks that are returned.
